Man held without bond in wife’s 2002 disappearance despite defense claims of no new evidence
A Baltimore County man accused of killing his wife, who disappeared in 2002, was ordered held without bond Wednesday, as his attorney blasted the case as baseless and lacking any new evidence after more than 20 years.
Michelle Rust, who was 24 years old, vanished on July 20, 2002, while preparing for her 3-year-old son’s birthday party, police said.
