More than 20 families were displaced after a three-alarm fire broke out at an apartment complex in Windsor Mill on Thursday, officials said.

The Baltimore County Fire Department said crews battled the blaze at the Diamond Ridge Luxury Apartments on the 7400 block of Brixworth Court.

The building was evacuated and no injuries have been reported, officials said. Both Baltimore Gas and Electric Co. and the Red Cross are responding.

The fire was extinguished just before 3 p.m., according to the Fire Department’s social media.

Bethany Bray Patterson, a spokesperson for the Red Cross, said about 24 families have been displaced because of the fire.

“We are coordinating with the property manager and Baltimore County public health and emergency management to ensure that displaced residents are supported and connected to recovery resources,” she said in an email.

Flames were visible coming through the roof, according to the department. Photos shared by officials show falling shingles and damage to the roof. Fire Chief Joseph W. Dixon was also at the complex on Thursday afternoon.

The apartment complex was damaged by a two-alarm fire in March 2025, leaving nearly 30 residents displaced, WJZ reported.
