A St. Paul’s Schools employee faces charges for allegedly stealing tens of thousands of dollars from the private Baltimore County school over the course of two years, records show.

Melanie Wagner, 52, of Parkton, was charged on Wednesday with a felony by the Baltimore County state’s attorney.

Court records show that Wagner is accused of stealing funds from the Episcopal school from July 20, 2023 through July 22, 2025.

The details of the investigation were not immediately made public. It was not clear from court records if Wagner obtained a lawyer. A LinkedIn profile for Wagner said she was an accounting associate at the school.

St. Paul’s Schools did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

The school serves students from preschool through high school on a 130-acre campus in Timonium.
