Drivers can expect some traffic slowdowns in Baltimore this weekend as the city hosts spring celebrations and repairs roads.

The Flower Mart, held every year in Mount Vernon, will cause some streets in the central neighborhood to close starting Friday through Saturday night. Throughout the day on Saturday, expect delays and temporary stops as participants take on the 15-mile Kinetic Sculpture Race course around the city.

The busy intersection of East Pratt Street and President Street near the Inner Harbor will also be closed for resurfacing work from Saturday at 9 p.m. until Sunday at noon. Detours will be in place.
