Man found dead with gunshot wounds on sidewalk in Odenton neighborhood

A man was found fatally shot on a sidewalk in an Odenton neighborhood Saturday night, Anne Arundel County Police said.

Police were called to the 500 block of Williamsburg Lane for a reported shooting. They found a man on the sidewalk suffering from multiple gunshot wounds, officials said.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene. Anne Arundel County Police officials did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

There have been at least four other homicides in Anne Arundel County this year, according to police data.

Timothy Leslie Randolph, 45, of Baltimore, was fatally shot in Odenton in January, the first homicide in Anne Arundel County this year.

Nearly two weeks later, a man and a woman were found fatally shot in a Harwood home. And, almost a week after that, contracted security workers at Northrop Grumman’s Linthicum campus got into a heated argument, leading one to fatally shoot the other.
