A Cockeysville man shot three masked men who allegedly approached him in his driveway with a gun on Halloween night, killing one and wounding two others, police said.

Baltimore County Police received a call leading them to the 10000 block of Greenside Drive around 10:40 p.m., according to a news release from the department.

Police said responding officers arrived to meet a resident who said three masked men, armed with a handgun, had threatened him while he was sitting in his driveway. The man told officers he responded by pulling his own gun and firing at the men before they fled and he called 911, according to the release.

Police canvassed the area and found one of the men dead. The deceased man was identified as 20-year-old Amon Walker. Officers later located the two other suspects seeking treatment for their gunshot wounds at local hospitals.
