Opening statements have begun at the Las Vegas trial of a man accused of orchestrating the killing of Tupac Shakur. A prosecutor told jurors Monday that while few have been willing to speak about the 1996 shooting, Duane “Keffe D” Davis is the “one person who has a hard time being silent.”

Maryland prison violence shows early drop following body camera rollout, officials say
Violence in Maryland prisons, which have experienced amongst the highest homicide rates in America correctional facilities, has dropped precipitously since guards were equipped with body cameras for the first time, officials said.
