A federal judge on Monday agreed to postpone the long-expected civil trial over the Key Bridge collapse. It had been set to begin after two years of legal wrangling and a slew of settlements.
With two more hits during Baltimore’s 9-5 victory against the Toronto Blue Jays on Sunday, Samuel Basallo capped a month that showed how much of a threat he already is.

A civil trial in the Key Bridge disaster is set to begin Monday in Baltimore’s federal courthouse. A judge will determine whether Synergy Marine Group and Grace Ocean Private can cap their liability in the bridge collapse at about $44 million, roughly the value of the container ship Dali and its cargo.
