One man died and two others were injured in a shooting in Northwest Baltimore on Monday afternoon, police said.

Baltimore Police were called to the 5200 block of Muth Avenue just before 4:30 p.m. Monday. They located three men, ages 21, 24 and 39, who had been shot, police officials said in a news release.

All three were transported to a local hospital to be treated for their injuries. The 24-year-old man died.

Monday evening, Carroll Motor Fuels, Subway and Kings Nails Spa were wrapped in yellow tape, and the rear of the buildings was littered with around two dozen evidence cones. Other evidence cones extended into the main roadway, which police vehicles blocked as officers redirected cars through the lot of the nearby Royal Farms.

This follows a string of multi-victim shootings in Baltimore this month — including this past weekend.

Sunday night, five people were shot at a BP gas station in the 2800 block of Edmonson Avenue. A 34-year-old woman and 20-year-old man died from their injuries, police said.

Early Thursday morning, four people, including two teenagers, were shot in the 3500 block of East Lombard Street. Erick Juarez-Aviles, 36, and Juan Espinoza-Trampa, 41, died in this incident, police said in a news release.

About a week before that, four young men were shot in Winchester. Two of them, Wesley Harris, 19, and Donte Gregory, 18, died. And on Oct. 3, 12-year-old Khloe Ishway was fatally shot and four other people were injured in a shooting in Southwest Baltimore near Leon Day Park. A 23-year-old man has been charged with murder and other offenses in connection to the shooting.
