The Ravens have ruled out Pro Bowl wide receiver Zay Flowers for Sunday’s game against the New Orleans Saints, downgrading him from doubtful Saturday because of a hamstring injury.

Flowers missed practice Wednesday and Thursday with the injury, which surfaced in training camp and which he aggravated in the team’s season-opening win against the Indianapolis Colts. Flowers, who had a career-high 150 receiving yards in Week 1, was limited in practice Friday.

With wide receiver Ja’Kobi Lane (wrist) on injured reserve, the Ravens will turn to Rashod Bateman and tight end Mark Andrews to lead their receiving corps.

The Ravens also placed cornerback T.J. Tampa on injured reserve, sidelining him for at least the next four games. Tampa, an important special teams contributor and a training camp standout, hurt his knee early Sunday and was seen wearing a brace after the win.

In a corresponding move, the Ravens signed inside linebacker Carl Jones off their practice squad. Jones had 19 special teams snaps Sunday, fourth most on the team, and two special teams tackles.

The Ravens also elevated offensive tackle Gerad Lichtenhan from the practice squad for Sunday’s game. Starting left tackle Ronnie Stanley was limited in practice Friday because of a toe injury he suffered in Week 1. If he’s unavailable, Carson Vinson would be expected to start against New Orleans, pushing Lichtenhan into a reserve role.
