A hit-and-run on Harford Road left a pedestrian dead Friday night after he was struck by a carjacked vehicle, marking the third fatal crash in Baltimore in a three-day span.
The victim, a 24-year-old man, was struck by someone driving a 2009 Toyota Corolla that had been carjacked earlier in the day, Baltimore Police said.
The occupants of the Corolla fled the scene on foot, but the car remained at the scene.
Officers responded to the scene around 10:50 p.m. and called medics, who pronounced the victim deceased, according to police.
It’s the second fatal crash on Harford Road this week. On Wednesday night, a dirt bike driver struck a Toyota Sienna as it was attempting to make a left turn onto Louise Road. The dirt bike driver, an unidentified male, was taken to a local hospital where he died.
Then, early Thursday morning, officers responded to a call for a vehicle fire on East Northern Parkway and found a vehicle engulfed in flames, with the driver deceased.
