Baltimore Police said a body was found in the Inner Harbor in the early hours of Friday.
Officials pulled the body of a man from the water around 3:40 a.m., according to a statement from Chakia Fennoy, a spokesperson for the Baltimore Police Department. The man was found near Pier 4 on the 600 block of East Pratt Street.
The man did not have any signs of injury or trauma, Fennoy said. Utility workers in the area spotted the body and called authorities.
His remains were transported to the Maryland medical examiner’s office to determine his identity and cause of death.
The recovery comes a week after officials identified a body found inside a van pulled from the Inner Harbor last summer. The man, Franklin Roosevelt Daniels, was reported missing more than a decade ago.
In April, police pulled Branson Oduor’s body from the Inner Harbor. He had gone missing for more than a week when police found his remains near the 500 block of East Pratt Street.
