The Washington Wizards will host an NBA draft party next Tuesday night for fans, the team announced, part of a week of community events celebrating the franchise’s past and present.

The Wizards, who hold the No. 1 overall draft pick for the first time since 2010, are hosting the draft party at The Anthem at The Wharf in Washington’s Southwest Waterfront neighborhood. Doors open at 5:45 p.m., and the first 5,000 fans in attendance will receive a Wizards-branded rally towel.

The event will be hosted by Wizards in-game host Britt Waters, with commentary from Wizards radio broadcasters Dave Johnson and Glenn Consor and a question-and-answer session with former Wizards star and No. 1 overall pick John Wall. To secure tickets, RSVP through Ticketmaster.

The Wizards, who are expected to choose between BYU’s AJ Dybantsa, Kansas’ Darryn Peterson and Duke’s Cameron Boozer, will introduce their first-round pick at a free fan fest on June 25 at M Street Landing at The Wharf. After an introductory news conference at 11 a.m., fans will hear directly from the Wizards’ top pick during a Q&A session. The event runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and is open to the public. Fans can RSVP here.

On June 26, in partnership with Washington’s Department of Parks and Recreation, the Wizards will host a court dedication celebration and ribbon-cutting ceremony in honor of Wall, a five-time All-Star. Former Wizards Tony Massenburg and Jason Smith will also be on hand for the event, which will be held at the Randall Recreation Center in Ward 6 from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m.
