A new bar is opening at Power Plant Live! in downtown Baltimore, adding to the complex’s mix of restaurants and live music venues.

Rally’s Corner Bar, which will have an outdoor patio and a dedicated stage for live bands, will open its doors on Sept. 10. The bar will also have karaoke, DJs, themed events and evening parties, according to a news release.

Director of operations for Power Plant Live! Anthony Matteo said the bar will be a place where people can grab a drink before going to a concert at nearby venues, such as Soundstage or Nevermore Hall, or for sports fans to watch games.

“Rally’s was designed to offer an incredible entertainment experience for any occasion,” Matteo said in the news release. “From the outdoor patio and bar to live music, live band karaoke and unforgettable Saturday night DJ entertainment, it’s another reason to spend the entire day — and night — at Power Plant Live.”

Real estate developer The Cordish Companies, which also leases a space to The Banner, owns Power Plant Live!

The district also announced that the Mosaic Ultra Lounge, which first opened in 2008, will undergo renovations starting Aug. 16, with an updated DJ booth, new LED displays and programmable lighting. The venue will have a grand reopening on Sept. 12.

The Power Plant Live! complex, which had over 3 million guests last year, according to a release, opened Nevermore Hall in 2025, a music venue with multiple bars and gothic-inspired decor. The music venue replaced Rams Head Live!, which opened in 2004 and had its final show in December 2024. Geno’s Steaks also opened its first location in Maryland at the complex in March.
