Traffic on the outer loop of the Baltimore Beltway was backed up Wednesday morning as several lanes were closed due to a manure spill.
A tractor trailer was hauling manure on the interstate when the load shifted and spilled, according to Maryland State Police.
All lanes of the outer loop before the exit for Loch Raven Boulevard were closed, according to the Maryland State Highway Administration, with just the left shoulder open.
Traffic cameras showed a backup stretching several miles, past the Belair Road exit.
Maryland State Police said they were assisting at the scene. No one was injured, police said.
