17-year-old Milford Mill student dies from July shooting injuries

A Milford Mill Academy student has died two weeks after she was critically wounded in a shooting in West Baltimore.

Jada Sellers, 17, was shot in the 700 block of Lyndhurst Street in the early morning hours of Friday, July 31, according to Baltimore Police.

The department said Sellers died from those injuries on Wednesday.

The school’s athletic department expressed its condolences in a social media post.

“MMA athletics extend our deepest condolences to the Family and Friends of Jada Sellers,” the post says. “Words cannot express our feelings during this unimaginable time! Please keep her family in your thoughts and prayers!”
