Reisterstown woman killed after speeding truck crosses double yellow lines in Edgemere

A 50-year-old woman from Reisterstown died late Saturday in Edgemere when a speeding truck crossed double yellow lines and struck her car head-on, authorities said.

Baltimore County Police identified the person who died as Halina Tsishchanka.

Police said a preliminary investigation determined a Ford F-250 was traveling “at a high rate of speed” when it crossed double yellow lines and collided with the Lexus being driven by Tsishchanka at Point and Shaws roads shortly after 10 p.m.

Tsishchanka was pronounced dead at the scene. The name of the person driving the Ford was not released, nor were their injuries reported.
