Police gave Blair High School students and staff permission to return to class Wednesday after a morning bomb threat prompted an evacuation.

Authorities evacuated the school after what police described as a “swatting” call.

Officers checked all floors of the Silver Spring school and determined the campus was safe shortly after noon.
