A 15-year-old boy who police say was driving a carjacked vehicle that struck and killed a pedestrian in Baltimore in October has been arrested.

At around 10:50 p.m. Oct. 23, Eastern District patrol officers responded to a report of a crash involving a pedestrian in the 2600 block of Harford Road. Medics declared Eric Browner Jr. dead when they arrived at the scene.

A preliminary investigation revealed that Browner was struck by a 2009 Toyota Corolla that had been carjacked at 9:40 p.m. that night in the 2000 block of Harford Road. The vehicle’s occupants left the crash scene on foot.

Two other individuals were identified as occupants of the car: a 15-year-old girl and a 14-year-old boy.
