    Residents and Royal Farms ruffle feathers over proposed gas station
    The zoning hearing marked a tense restart to an 11-year dispute between Royal Farms and Northeast Baltimore communities. The chain, known for its fried chicken, is asking the Board of Municipal and Zoning Appeals for permission to build a gas station near a busy intersection at 5901 Harford Road.
    Residents have been fighting against the proposed gas statin for 11 years.

    Harford County man receives life sentence for killing 13-year-old girl in Southeast Baltimore
    A man was sentenced Tuesday for the killing of a 13-year-old girl in November 2022, the Baltimore City State’s Attorney’s Office said.
    13 year-old Kelsey Washington was shot and later died from injuries in Southeast Baltimore, according to authorities. Tavon Battle was arrested by the Warrant Apprehension Task Force at a residence in Harford County.
