    Erica Griswold, the Anne Arundel County register of wills, pleaded guilty to misconduct in office stemming from her cashing of a $6,645 cashier’s check intended for her office. Sentencing was set for July 18.

    Man gets life without parole for killing two, including Baltimore Police Officer Keona Holley
    In a statement, Baltimore State’s Attorney Ivan Bates said the sentence “conveys an unequivocal message that acts of violence, which have afflicted our communities, will not be tolerated.”
