Archbishop Spalding High School is a private, Catholic co-educational high school located in Severn, Maryland.

It was another championship celebration last spring for Archbishop Spalding, which claimed its third straight IAAM A Conference championship. The Cavaliers are the No. 1 team in the Baltimore Banner/Varsity Sports Network Preseason Softball Top 15 poll.

Ace Valentine headlined another steady effort by Mount St. Joseph's basketball team Thursday evening. The senior guard finished with 20 points as the No. 1 Gaels defeated ninth-ranked Archbishop Spalding, 70-56, in a MIAA A Conference semifinal in Southwest Baltimore.
