Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson will not be out for a “crazy-long term” as he recovers from a left ankle injury that sidelined him late in the first half of a win Sunday over the Tennessee Titans, coach Jesse Minter said Monday.

Jackson’s availability for the Ravens’ road game Sunday night against the Atlanta Falcons is unclear. He left M&T Bank Stadium on Sunday in a protective boot and underwent an MRI on Monday. Minter said the Ravens are still gathering information.

“We’ll see what happens,” Minter said.

Jackson limped to the sideline after the Ravens’ final offensive play of the first half, when Titans defensive end Jermaine Johnson landed on the outside of Jackson’s ankle. He watched most of the second half in uniform from the sideline before leaving the field with about five minutes left. Jackson did not talk to reporters afterward.

Minter acknowledged after the win that the team had conversations about Jackson potentially returning in the second half. Instead, backup Tyler Huntley remained in the game.

“Hopefully, it’s in a good spot,” Minter said Sunday of Jackson’s ankle.

Jackson finished 15-for-20 for 222 yards and two touchdowns as the Ravens averaged 8.1 yards per play in the first half. Huntley went 8-for-9 for 63 yards, but the offense averaged just 4.1 yards per play after halftime and was held scoreless.

Because of injuries to Jackson and Cooper Rush’s ineffectiveness as a backup, Huntley appeared in five games last season for the Ravens and started two, winning both. He went 52-for-67 (77.6%) for 426 yards and two touchdowns and had 24 carries for 151 yards.

Minter had no updates Monday on the severity of injuries to tight end Durham Smythe (Achilles tendon), guard Andrew Vorhees (foot) or cornerback Marlon Humphrey (calf), all of whom left Sunday’s game.

Smythe, who played for Ravens offensive coordinator Declan Doyle in Chicago last season and whose knowledge of the system made him a “fixer” on this year’s unit, played over half of the team’s offensive snaps in each of its first three games. In his absence, rookies Matt Hibner and Josh Cuevas would be expected to take on additional snaps.

Vorhees’ injury could lead Emery Jones to a starting role at right guard. Vega Ioane, the team’s Week 1 starting right guard, moved to center last week after injuries to the Ravens’ top three options, opening a slot for Vorhees. Jones, a 2025 third-round pick, had an uneven preseason and primarily played tackle in college but is a promising athlete.

After Humphrey went down Sunday, Chidobe Awuzie played a season-high 56 defensive snaps. He allowed four catches on six targets for 30 yards, according to Pro Football Focus. He was also flagged for a 39-yard pass interference penalty. The Ravens could also use rookie Chandler Rivers, primarily a slot corner, at outside corner.

Bilhal Kone, another outside corner, is eligible to be activated from injured reserve this week. So is rookie running back Adam Randall, though it’s unclear whether the fifth-round pick can immediately contribute. Derrick Henry and Justice Hill have dominated the Ravens’ workload at running back, leaving special teams as Randall’s clearest path to the field.

Minter said it’s “possible” that both Kone and Randall return to practice this week.

“We’ll do what’s best for the roster right now to make sure we don’t put ourselves in a position to pigeonhole those guys to only having a small window as well,” he said.
