Cornerback Marlon Humphrey was one of four Ravens players to join President Donald Trump at an event Tuesday promoting a new submarine manufacturing facility in Sparrows Point.

Trump acknowledged Humphrey and three Ravens specialists — kicker Tyler Loop, punter Ryan Eckley and long snapper Nick Moore — and asked them to stand up about 15 minutes into his speech at Tradepoint Atlantic, where weapons maker Anduril Industries announced plans for a high-tech shipyard that’s expected to create thousands of jobs.

“Oh, these guys are making a lot of money,” Trump said. “They’re doing very well. I think they’re 3-1 or something like that. They’re doing good.”

Trump complimented Moore’s long-snapping accuracy and joked about his graying hair (“Tell me, is he a coach?”). He also asked the Ravens in attendance to “say hello to your quarterback.”

Lamar Jackson, Trump said, is a “little bit injured,” referring to the ankle he hurt Sunday in a win over the Tennessee Titans. Trump also said he met Jackson’s mother, Felicia Jones, a few times in Palm Beach, Florida.

“She’s a fantastic, beautiful woman,” he said. “But give him my regards. He is some player.”

The four players mingled in a reception area after Trump’s remarks, posing for photos with uniformed Naval Academy midshipmen and carrying white Trump campaign hats with the president’s signature across the brim. They described greeting Trump after he stepped off Marine One and shaking his hand.

“I’ll just say it’s cool to meet a president,” Loop told The Banner. The players declined additional comment.

While Loop, Eckley and Moore are not especially active on social media, Humphrey has been outspoken in his support of Trump, tweeting about the president more than 20 times since 2020. His most recent message came in May, when he shared with his 220,000-plus followers: “The fake Trump hate funny to me. Majority voted for him but everybody seem to hate him lol…Somebody lying 🤥."

In March, Humphrey tweeted that he was in Palm Beach, Florida, where Trump’s Mara-a-Lago Club resort is based. “Where my president at,” Humphrey wrote. “Let’s golf..!😤"

On July 13, 2024, after an assassination attempt in Butler, Pennsylvania, Humphrey wrote: “Trump took a bullet for America.”

A Ravens spokesman did not immediately reply to an email seeking comment.

The visit by the players is at least the third Trump-Ravens interaction since last summer. In July 2025, then-Ravens coach John Harbaugh and his brother, Los Angeles Chargers coach Jim Harbaugh, met with Trump in the Oval Office, a White House official confirmed. A source close to the situation said the White House had invited the Harbaugh family.

And this summer, Ravens senior special teams coach Randy Brown co-founded the company behind the “Freedom Fuel Network,” a chain of gas stations in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Detroit touted by President Trump.

Corporate records in Delaware show that Brown, 58, a longtime Ravens assistant and former New Jersey mayor, formed Freedom Fuels Network LLC alongside Yoni Gontownik, a former energy and investment executive. In early July, the Freedom Fuel Network sold gas for $3.47 a gallon at 25 stations in the Philadelphia region, about 50 cents cheaper than the city’s average price. Prices have risen in the months since.

Humphrey, a four-time Pro Bowl selection, left the Ravens’ win over the Titans with a calf injury. The team plays the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday night.
