Quarterback Lamar Jackson took part in practice on Thursday as the Ravens prepare ahead of Sunday’s 1 p.m. game against the Cincinnati Bengals.
Jackson, who injured his ankle in early October and has missed the last two games, was on the field at the start of practice as the team went through its stretching. As per usual, he stretched off to the side with his fellow quarterbacks. He shared a hug with his new center Cam Jurgens.
When the team moved to individual drills, Jackson participated.
On Wednesday Jackson didn’t join practice until after the media viewing closed and was wearing training clothes rather than his uniform.
Jackson’s return to the field comes before the Ravens’ second game against an AFC North opponent. Their loss to the Cleveland Browns last week knocked them from their spot atop the division. The Bengals are coming off a bye week and are 3-2.

Head coach Jesse Minter did not say at his press conference Wednesday whether Jackson would be back by Sunday, and offensive coordinator Declan Doyle avoided committing to a timeline when he spoke Thursday. Minter will next address reporters Friday after practice.
Backup quarterback Tyler Huntley is 1-1 in two starts; he also closed out a win against the Titans.
Huntley has had moments of brilliance, like the two-minute drive to tie the game in Atlanta followed by the overtime game-winning drive as well as the opening drive in Cleveland, but there have been long stretches when the offense has dried up.
The offense will also be returning to the field with some extra help, with Jurgens now out of concussion protocol. The Ravens traded with the Philadelphia Eagles for Jurgens after three centers suffered season-ending injuries. Rookie right guard Vega Ioane has stepped up at center in the meantime, but both he and Jurgens can return to their natural positions.
