Milton Wight, 11-10, in the Class 2A state semifinals Saturday. Next week, the Mavericks, the only undefeated public school team in the state at 18-0, will go after their first state championship since 2016.

Milton Wright senior midfielder Hudson Welsh scored the winning goal with just over two minutes remaining in the second overtime period to lift the Mustangs to a 7-6 victory over Havre de Grace on Wednesday afternoon. The Ohio Northern University commit said that junior midfielder Justin Eckman’s feed made his job a lot easier on the pivotal play.
