Since the start of the school year, The Banner has been tracking transportation breakdowns across Prince George’s County Public Schools — from unassigned bus routes and late arrivals to a malfunctioning app and hourslong commutes.

As a nonprofit newsroom, The Banner is dedicated to holding local institutions accountable and reporting on the issues that directly impact Maryland families.

That means we want to hear directly from you.

The Banner is assembling a group of PGCPS families to log their students’ daily bus experiences over the next few weeks. By sharing a brief, 60-second update each day, you will help us build a more accurate, real-time picture of how the bus system is or isn’t working for students. Your responses will directly inform our newsroom’s ongoing reporting.
