Iconic American performers and notable films made in Montgomery County are the highlight of the upcoming season at BlackRock Center for the Arts.

The Germantown cultural arts center announced its 2026-27 season lineup Thursday, showcasing a series of performances, film screenings, special events and art exhibits featuring American art and culture as the U.S. celebrates its 250th anniversary.

“This year, as we reflect on what it means to be inhabitants of this contested land, we amplify the voices of local artists, researchers and storytellers who can help us see our relationships to the land more clearly,” BlackRock Gallery Director Joshua Gamma said.

Here’s the full lineup of BlackRock productions slated for the coming season.
