    11/5/22 – The Artesanas' altar, or ofrenda, welcomed guests to the Creative Alliance's Día de los Muertos celebration on Saturday. The ofrenda is a staple part of the Mexican holiday, honoring the deceased with pictures, candles, tamales, cempasúchil flowers, and other offerings.

    More than 11,000 participants had been expected to participate across the events, which included a marathon, half-marathon, 10K and 5K. Runners arrived in the city from all 50 states and 15 countries.
    The 21st Baltimore Marathon took place on October 15, 2022 with over 11,000 participants from all 50 states and at least 11 different countries.

    Community members gathers to hang 175 flags after a fire burned four homes on Wednesday morning.
    About two hours after the flag distribution, new flags make their way to E. 31st Street in support of the recent fire that was presumed started by the burning of a pride flag. The flags in the neighborhood are also joined with missing signs for cats misplaced from the fire. One cat, Luisa, was found in good condition Friday morning, but residents are still searching for one other.
