US Route 50 near Prince George’s County reopens after crisis response
Police on Tuesday shut down a ramp to U.S. Route 50 as they negotiated with a man sitting atop a fence on an overpass. The incident briefly affected nearby voters.
Prince George’s County Police began communicating with someone they described as a “man in crisis” on Whitfield Chapel Road over Route 50 starting around 2:30 p.m.
