The human remains found in an Annapolis park two weeks ago have been identified, the Annapolis Police Department said Tuesday.
The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner, a state agency, identified the remains as Nicholas Bradley Patterson, 33, of Annapolis, the department said.
His remains were discovered in Truxtun Park shortly before 4 p.m. on Sept. 30.
Truxtun is a city park south of Spa Creek and north of Hilltop Lane. It has athletic fields, a swim center and a boat launch, and is home to the Pip Moyer Recreation Center.
Patterson’s family reported him missing on Jan. 21, and police have been investigating since.
Police said there is no indication of foul play, though the medical examiner has not reported an official cause of death.
