A 17-year-old driver died after his car drove off the roadway and hit a tree in Randallstown on Wednesday night, police said.
Officers responded to reports of a crash involving a 2013 GMC Acadia at the intersection of Liberty and Lyons Mill roads at around 11:15 p.m. The driver, Angel Callejas Fuentes, and two passengers were transported to local hospitals. Callejas Fuentes died at the hospital, and the two passengers are being treated for life-threatening injuries.
Baltimore County Police are investigating the circumstances of the crash. The car was “involved in an incident” in Carroll County before the driver headed into Baltimore County, according to the press release.
Representatives from the Baltimore County Police Department did not have any additional information.
Representatives from the Carroll County Sheriff’s Office did not immediately respond to questions.
