A current officer and two former officers with the Prince George’s Police Department were charged with varying counts of misconduct in office and conspiracy to commit misconduct, according to the state’s attorney’s office.

The current officer, Cpl. Timothy Green, who is on military leave, joined the agency in 2015, the Prince George’s County State’s Attorney’s Office said Friday in a news release.

The former officers are Sierra Alston, who left the department in December, and Gerald Briscoe, who left in February, the state’s attorney’s office said. The two joined the force in 2023.

All three officers had been suspended last year. Alston was suspended in October, Briscoe in March and Green in June.

Prosecutors say the officers improperly used police databases to look up vehicle registration information even though they were not working a case or investigation involving those vehicles, DC News Now reported based on court documents.

Last year, car theft-related charges against Alston were dropped, Virginia news outlet WSET reported.

She had been accused of stealing three BMWs from a car rental company at Reagan National Airport after her belongings were found in one of the stolen vehicles, her phone’s Bluetooth was connected to a second one and she was caught on D.C. police body-camera footage in a third one.
