Prince George’s County police are searching for the driver of a stolen vehicle who fled during attempted traffic stops in Bladensburg early Sunday morning.

An officer fired at the car around 3:55 a.m. at the intersection of Annapolis and Edmonston roads, but there is no evidence anyone inside was hit, police said.

The driver, in a silver Hyundai sedan, fled a first traffic stop, police said. One officer discharged his weapon when police attempted a second stop at the intersection.

The car, which was reported stolen and may have had additional passengers inside, fled again, police said.
