Can Jared Banner fix the Orioles’ player development problems? | Banner Baseball Show

When Jared Banner was asked Tuesday to name his strengths, the new Orioles general manager noted his ability to handle conflicting viewpoints.

“I think if you talk to people around the game, they’ll tell you that I’m always willing to challenge others, and I’m always willing to get uncomfortable,” he said at his introductory press conference.

In his new role, Banner will need to push the Orioles’ front office — sometimes in uncomfortable ways — to vastly improve the franchise’s struggling player development department.
