A Sunday morning crash that left 11 people injured in Baltimore County remains under investigation, according to Maryland State Police.

At approximately 8:11 a.m. Sunday, state troopers responded to a report of a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Interstates 695 and 70 in Baltimore County.

According to police, a Ford Transit van was traveling westbound on I-695 when it crossed over three lanes toward the exit to I-70. The van struck a tractor trailer, causing the van to flip over.

While the driver of the Ford Transit remained at the scene, 11 of its passengers were transported to area hospitals for their injuries, according to state police. No other injuries were reported at the scene.

State police said Monday that the investigation is ongoing.
