A 67-year-old man died two weeks after a Toyota sport utility vehicle struck him in Gaithersburg, Montgomery County Police said Tuesday.

Tesfaye Fugago Liranso of Gaithersburg stepped into the westbound travel lane of West Deer Park Road around 2:30 p.m. on July 24, police said in a news release. He was struck by a 2018 Toyota RAV4 driver traveling westbound on the road.
