Six people were injured in five separate shootings across Baltimore early Sunday morning, police said.

Officers responded to four of the shootings in the span of about an hour between 1 and 2 a.m. Another occurred just before 9 a.m.

Police first headed to the 1200 block of Ashland Avenue at about 1:09 a.m., where they found a 21-year-old man in the Old Town neighborhood suffering from a single gunshot wound.

Detectives learned the victim was shot on the 1100 block of Greenmount Avenue. He was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police next responded about a half hour later, when officers received a report of a 29-year-old man seeking hospital treatment for a gunshot wound. The victim told police he was in the 2300 block of Baker Street, near Carver Vocational Technical High School, when he heard gunfire and realized he was shot.

Then, at roughly 2:07 a.m., officers again responded to a local hospital to find a 23-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound. He told police he was shot in an alley but wasn’t sure where.

Officers were also patrolling near Cross Street in Federal Hill at about 2:10 a.m. when they heard gunfire. They found two male victims, ages 17 and 26, who had been shot. They were transported to the hospital for treatment.

The most recent shooting happened around 8:50 a.m. Officers responded to a reported shooting on the 4000 block of Fairhaven Avenue in the Curtis Bay neighborhood.

They found a 33-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound and transported him to the hospital. He is in stable condition, police said.
