Two people were shot overnight in separate incidents near Baltimore nightlife hubs.

Police were notified of the first shooting just after 9 p.m. when its victim, a 21-year-old man, entered a hospital seeking treatment. After an investigation, they concluded the shooting occurred on the 1800 block of St. Paul Street, just over a block from Baltimore Penn Station and near the restaurants and bars in the Station North neighborhood.

A police spokesperson could not offer an update on the victim’s condition.

It wasn’t the only shooting of the night.

Just before 3 a.m., police responded to reports of a shooting on the 200 block of Key Highway in the Federal Hill neighborhood. They found an adult man, unresponsive and without identification.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police are investigating both incidents.

The non-fatal shooting occurred in the Station North neighborhood.
