Two people were shot overnight in separate incidents near Baltimore nightlife hubs.

Police were notified of the first shooting just after 9:00 p.m. when its victim, a 21-year-old man, entered a local hospital seeking treatment. After an investigation, they concluded that the shooting had occurred at the 1800 block of Saint Paul Street, just over a block from Baltimore Penn Station and near the restaurants and bars in the city’s Penn North neighborhood.

A police spokesperson was not able to offer an update on the victim’s condition.
