Anne Arundel County Police are investigating the death of a pedestrian following their discovery of a potential hit-and-run in Glen Burnie on Wednesday night.
Officers with the Northern District responded to a call on Cedar Drive around 9:10 p.m. Police said they found a 31-year-old man at the scene amid “suspicious circumstances.”
The man, whose identity has not been released, was pronounced dead by members of the Anne Arundel County Fire Department.
Police said a preliminary investigation has led them to believe he may have been hit by a car that fled the scene. The department’s crash reconstruction team has taken over the investigation and is awaiting an autopsy report.
