A man died after being shot near a residential complex in Towson on Sunday morning.

Baltimore County Police responded to the 8700 block of Mylander Lane around 11:10 a.m., where they found a man suffering from gunshot wounds. The man, whom officials have not yet identified, was transported to an area hospital, where he was pronounced dead, police said in a news release.

The apartment complex where the man was found is near East Joppa Road, surrounded by restaurants, retail stores and fast food chains. Police are investigating the shooting.

Weekend shootings in Baltimore County

Police responded to at least two other shootings in Baltimore County over the weekend.

A 38-year-old was taken to a hospital with multiple gunshot wounds early Sunday in Catonsville. On Saturday, a 46-year-old in Gwynn Oak was hospitalized with a gunshot wound, police said. Both men are in stable condition.
