Baltimore Police say a 16-year-old has been charged as an adult with murder in the fatal shooting of a 35-year-old man in February.
The male suspect is charged in the Feb. 28 killing of Quinton McLellan in the 1500 block of Ashland Avenue, just north of Johns Hopkins Hospital, police said in a social media post Monday.
Police said the teenager was served with a murder warrant Friday while being held on an unrelated charge in Juvenile Booking. He was transported to Central Booking, where he was charged with first-degree murder, first-degree assault and other offenses.
