A man was arrested this week for the alleged sexual assault of a woman whom he worked with as a volunteer firefighter in Baltimore County, police said.
On Friday, detectives from the Woodlawn Precinct have arrested and charged 26-year-old Xavier Dove in connection with an ongoing sexual assault investigation.
Officers responded to a report of the sexual assault in the 10000 block of Liberty Road in Randallstown around 9 a.m. on May 5, according to a news release from the Baltimore County Police.
Dove is currently being held at the Baltimore County Detention Center without bond.
The woman told police that she was assaulted Dove on May 2, according to the news release.
The two were assigned to the Liberty Road Fire Station, police said. Officers investigated and issued a warrant for the suspect’s arrest, according to the release.
