A 30-year-old Suitland man was arrested Monday evening in connection with the stabbing of 17-year-old Amari Clarke.

Prince George’s County Police said they apprehended Anforne Golden in Silver Spring. Golden is accused of fatally stabbing Clarke earlier this month.

On May 8, police responded to reports of a stabbing in the 3800 block of St. Barnabas Road. They found Clarke suffering from stab wounds. Clarke died at a hospital shortly after.

Police said a preliminary investigation suggests that Golden stabbed Clarke during a dispute and that the two knew each other.
