Hot and humid weather

Multiple thunderstorm clusters are moving from Pennsylvania into the region on Thursday. It will be hot and humid through Friday, with heat indexes between 100 and 105 degrees, said Luis Rosa, a meteorologist for the National Weather Service.

Dry air is expected to settle over the mid-Atlantic region over the weekend. Temperatures are likely to drop, with highs in the low 80s and lows in the 50s and 60s.
