Throughout my career, I have worked directly with residents during some of life’s most difficult moments, helping families navigate the probate process with compassion, professionalism, and care.

Having served in the office for nearly two decades and now as the incumbent Register of Wills, I bring institutional knowledge, leadership, and a deep understanding of how to make government more accessible and responsive. My commitment to this work comes from both my professional experience and my personal connection to the community I have called home my entire life.

Education: Associate’s Degree in Business Administration from Anne Arundel Community College and Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management from University of Maryland Global Campus.

Experience: I currently serve as the incumbent Anne Arundel County Register of Wills, where I oversee the administration of probate matters and work to ensure the office operates with professionalism, transparency, and accessibility for all residents. In this role, I am responsible for helping families navigate the legal process following the loss of a loved one, overseeing estate filings, and ensuring the office provides accurate information and timely service during what is often one of the most difficult times in a person’s life.

Before being appointed, I dedicated nearly 20 years to serving in the Register of Wills office, working my way through various positions and gaining firsthand experience in every aspect of probate administration. My work has included reviewing estate documents, assisting personal representatives and attorneys, processing court filings, and working closely with the Orphans’ Court for Anne Arundel County to support the administration of estates in accordance with Maryland law. Over the years, I have developed deep institutional knowledge of the office, while also helping improve internal operations, customer service, and access to information for the public.

My public service has always centered on serving the families of Anne Arundel County with compassion, integrity, and accountability. Through nearly two decades in county government, I have built strong working relationships with legal professionals, community members, and county agencies, and I remain committed to modernizing the office while preserving the high standard of service residents deserve.
