    Maryland among states reporting racist text messages to residents
    Maryland Attorney General Anthony Brown confirmed that his office had received “multiple complaints of racist text messages sent to Black Marylanders, including school-aged children.”
    Racist text messages were sent to Black men, women and students, including middle schoolers, prompting inquiries by the FBI and other agencies.
