Logan Puscheck (left) and DJ Stolba helped Glenelg maintain a share of first place in the Howard County baseball league Tuesday. Stolba had a home run and drove in 3 runs and Puscheck accounted for the game winning RBI in a 4-run sixth inning rally as the No. 6 Gladiators defeated 10th-ranked River Hill, 8-7, in Clarksville.

Nick Duvall was a major reason Glenelg won its state baseball championship since 1999 last spring. He went 4-1 on the mound with a 0.35 ERA and drove in 27 runs, including a game-breaking 3-run double in the sixth inning of the Gladiators' 4-1 Class 2A state championship win over Patuxent.
