Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson missed Tuesdayβs practice with a knee injury but is expected to play Thursday night against the Cincinnati Bengals, coach John Harbaugh said.
βHeβll be playing,β Harbaugh said Tuesday.
Jackson was estimated to be a full participant in Mondayβs walk-through and was not designated with any injuries. Last week, before a starring performance in a blowout win Sunday over the Denver Broncos, he missed practice Wednesday and Thursday to rest minor back and knee injuries, then returned as a full participant Friday.
Harbaugh was asked after Mondayβs walk-through whether the Ravens would consider limiting Jackson in practice again.
βWell, we only have one practice at speed this week, so I guess we have that going for us this week for the whole team,β Harbaugh said. βWeβll see how it works for everybody.β
He later added: βItβs a long season, a lot of things happen, guys prepare different ways. Sometimes guys have things that theyβre dealing with, other times guys need rest. You take it as it presents itself.β
Jackson, who was seen in the locker room after Tuesdayβs practice, said Monday that practicing once a week wouldnβt become routine.
βMy guys are out there working, so I donβt got a problem with working,β he said. βBut if thatβs going [to] help me recover faster, yes, Iβd be cool with it.β
Defensive lineman Brent Urban (concussion) and tight end Isaiah Likely (hamstring), both of whom missed Mondayβs walk-through, were absent Tuesday as well. Outside linebacker Adisa Isaac (illness) and cornerback Jalyn Armour-Davis (knee) were limited, while running back Rasheen Ali (ankle) was upgraded to a full participant.
Note: Running back Chris Collier was released Tuesday as part of a corresponding move to the Ravensβ trade for cornerback TreβDavious White.
